Step 1: Turn your sprinkler supply off in the basement.
Step 2: Turn a zone on for a minute or so to drain the water out of the exposed pipe. The underground pipes are protected by the soil temperature, which does not drop as quickly as the air temp.
**You can also use a flat blade screwdriver to open the brass valves 1/4 turn on your outdoor RPZ/backflow device. Some water may spray up and then drain out.
Step 3: Contact a professional to schedule your shut down.
Email us at sprinklerschedule@gmail.com if you need guidance on locating your shut off valve or with any of the above steps.
As a small family business, our main goal is to offer you quality service at a fair, yet competitive rate.
